About Us

A group of concerned Catholic laity formed the Laity in Support of Retired Priests, Inc. (LSRP) to understand the issues of our diocesan priests in their retirement years.  While we are headquartered in Bonita Springs, Florida our Board of Directors comes from throughout the United States and we strive to improve the quality of life for senior priests and bishops in all 50 states.

LSRP is a non-profit organization committed to developing communications to and between clergy; addressing state, regional and national issues impacting retired clergy and providing financial counseling.  Considerations will be given and emphasis placed on spiritual retreats, seminars and travel plans to places of personal or religious interest.

LSRP will develop a forum for retired (senior) priests and bishops to discuss individual concerns.  LSRP will enable retired priests and bishops to speak with a collaborative voice.

LSRP, Inc., was incorporated in the state of Florida in July 2007 as a not-for-profit corporation EIN #77-0697294.   LSRP, Inc. has been approved by the IRS as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
